The institution was established in 1944 by a revered Ayurvedic luminary, celebrated for his mastery in Eeral Kulai Katti and as an eminent Naadi Nibunar. A custodian of profound traditional wisdom, he devoted his life to the science of holistic healing. With remarkable vitality and unwavering dedication, he continued his noble practice in sound health until the age of 90, bequeathing a legacy of timeless excellence and compassionate care.
Guided by his profound expertise and unwavering vision, the hospital continued to flourish, earning a distinguished reputation for its excellence in Ayurvedic care. It became particularly renowned for its successful management of sinus and infertility cases, drawing patients in search of authentic and effective healing. His life remained wholly devoted to the science of Ayurveda, and with remarkable dedication, he continued to serve and heal until his very last days. This relentless commitment stands as a testament to his enduring passion, shaping a legacy defined by trust, excellence, and compassionate care.
Educated at the esteemed Venkataramana Ayurveda College, Chennai, he cultivated a profound command over classical Ayurvedic science. Guided by the wisdom and experience of his father and brother, he seamlessly advanced a distinguished lineage of healing. He earned notable recognition for his expertise in pediatric and infertility care, delivering outcomes through a distinctive and insightful approach, while adeptly managing a wide spectrum of ailments. Complementing his clinical excellence, he fostered a keen interest in the meticulous preparation of specialized medicines, enhancing both the authenticity and efficacy of his treatments.
At present, the institution is guided by a distinguished Ayurvedic physician, the first MD (Ayu) from Karur, ushering in a new era of excellence while upholding a revered legacy. With over 27 years of extensive clinical experience, he has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing a wide spectrum of diseases across diverse specialities, earning enduring trust and respect.
An accomplished academician, he brings more than 23 years of dedicated teaching experience across reputed Ayurveda institutions, shaping and mentoring generations of practitioners with depth and clarity. His illustrious career is further marked by significant academic and administrative contributions, having served as Chairman of the Board of Studies in Ayurveda, as well as a Senate and Faculty Member at Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
With a rare blend of clinical acumen, academic distinction, and visionary leadership, he continues to strengthen and elevate the institution, ensuring that its tradition of authentic, holistic healing evolves with relevance, excellence, and integrity.
